I am a fully qualified Adlerian counsellor, holding a Diploma in Adlerian Counselling and Psychotherapy. I offer a calm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent 25 years as a hairdresser, where I learned the importance of genuine connection, listening, trust and confidentiality — qualities that remain central to my practice.
My approach is grounded in Adlerian psychology. Together, we can explore how early experiences, memories and our private logic influence how we see ourselves and the world. We can identify your strengths, reconnect with your authentic self, and develop practical tools to support greater self-awareness, confidence and purpose.
I take a holistic approach to wellbeing, recognising the importance of self-care, connection, nature and animals. I work alongside you, at your own pace, to help you understand yourself more deeply and find a way forward that feels meaningful and authentic to you.
I joined Traumaform in March 2023 to complete my counselling training hours, receiving monthly group supervision and completing the following workshops to become a trauma-informed counsellor:
- Introduction to Assessment and diagnosis
- Introduction stabilisation and Emotional Regulation strategies
- Introduction to Trauma and PTSD
- Introduction to Psychoeducation
- Introduction to Vicarious Trauma
- Introduction to Safe Trauma Therapy
Other training and qualifications:
- Diploma in Adlerian Counselling and Psychotherapy
- Certificate in online & telephone counselling
- Introduction to Trauma Toolkit
- Supporting grief well – The Grief Map Approach
I am a registered member of BACP and ASIIP, registered with the ICO, hold a current DBS certificate, and undertake regular professional supervision.
